Aagaaz 2012-13 : Sports cum Cultural Fest

After getting the Autonomous status, a roll of new cultural events were seen in JEC starting with JaShan Auditorium, Padmashri Pt. Viswamohan Bhatt music concert, ‘Swarnima’ annual college magazine. Infrastructure development including rebooting of the Canteen after many years, and newly built basketball, tennis courts and more to come.

This time its not just cultural, with the development of sports facilities recently, the management has taken a step ahead with AAGAAZ 2012-13 – the Intra-college Inter-branch “Sports-cum-Cultural festival”. A platform that was much awaited by students since a long time. In the light of recent events, one can say with their eyes closed, that the institute has moved many steps ahead, and can aspire for even more.

About AGAAZ 2012-13

The fest expands for a stretch of 7 days from 28th Dec 2012 to 3rd Jan 2013, consisting of various indoor as well as outdoor sports such as cricket, football. volleyball, atheletics, chess, carrom etc. Cultural events include Dancing, Singing, Informals and Band competition.

Key Role

The whole event is mentored by Assistant Director (Sports), Mr. Rajendra Singh. His zeal is inspiring students to make this event one of the best that the institute has seen.

A Core team and Organizing committee has been formed as well to assist in proper conduction of the event comprising students from all branches in the college. They are the people who will actually do all of the ground work behind the curtains and realize the whole thing.
